Ventura County Sheriff K9 Unit

The Ventura County Sheriff K9 Unit helps keep our neighborhoods safe and our citizens free from the fear of crime. Follow us @vcsdk9unit & vcsdk9.org

The Ventura County Sheriff K9 unit consists of six patrol K9s (five German Shepherds and one Belgian Malinois) a detention services K9 (Labrador). Our K9s help us locate suspects, narcotics, and lost children or lost adults.

The Ventura County Sheriff K9 Unit is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We depend on sponsorships, fundraisers, and donations to pay for our K9 partners' food, veterinary care, training, and K9 equipment.
