Villanova University Center for Energy and Environmental Education - (610) 519-4881

The mission of VCE3 is to foster interdisciplinary education, scholarship, and partnerships across the university and throughout the community.

The Villanova Center for Energy and Environmental Education is a pilot center funded from private gifts to the Dean's Fund for Strategic Initiatives. As a College Center of Excellence, we are dedicated to:

Facilitating interdisciplinary teaching and research on environmental, energy, climate, and sustainability issues, integrating scientific, social, economic, and political aspects in meaningful ways.

Promoting and supporting active engagement and collaboration of faculty across the university.

Enhancing communication opportunities for students and faculty in both formal and informal ways (including workshops, round table discussions, brown bag lunches, and formal seminars) to improve communication skills.

Contributing to campus and community activities, educational outreach, and service related to environment, energy, climate, and sustainability issues.

Serving as a resource for academic and regional/national communities regarding the environment, energy, climate, and sustainability.

Please feel free to contact VCE3 directors, Dr. Amanda M Grannas and Dr. Jared J Paul, at vce3@villanova.edu for more information.
