Formerly known as the Sprague Theater the Walworth County Performing Arts Center is home to Lakeland Players Ltd.
Opening as a movie house in 1928 the historic Sprague Theater has been a center of entertainment in downtown Elkhorn. It is now home to Lakeland Players Ltd. who acquired the building in 1990 and renamed it the Walworth County Performing Arts Center. LPL has brought live theatre entertainment to Elkhorn, Walworth County and the communities of southeast Wisconsin and northeast Illinois for over 40 years.
