The Olympic sport of Bicycle Motocross or BMX is a family participation sport where boys and girls ranging in age from under 5 to over 65 use manual power to maneuver a pedal bike over jumps, banked corners and other obstacles. Unlike most sports, BMX racing depends 100% on your performance, not the combined performance of a team, No one sits on the bench in BMX racing everyone is part of the action. Beginners only race other beginners their age. Waterford oaks BMX is run and maintained by Oakland County Parks with help from the Waterford Oaks BMX Volunteer Association. The track is located inside Waterford Oaks County Park at 1702 Scott Lake Road Waterford, MI 48328. Phone (248) 858-0915.
