The Watertown Recreational Trail System was developed and is maintained by the City of Watertown's Department of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry. The trail covers 30 miles and it travels through the city parks and scenic country settings around Lake Kampeska. Several trailheads and stops are located through the recreational trail to offer starting points and rest stops. Top places to visit are the Terry Redlin Art Center, the Bramble Park Zoo, and the Stokes Thomas City Park/Campground. Two other park campgrounds can be found on the trail as well as two golf courses and several parks. Take the time to travel our trail often for your good health and enjoy Watertown, the rising star of South Dakota!
