Waterville Valley Invitational Girls Hockey Tournament

Welcome to annual Waterville Valley Invitational Girls Hockey Tournament organized and sponsored by the North Shore Vipers and Christian Hockey Camps Intl.

The Waterville Valley Invitational (WVI) was initiated in the 1999 season by the Masco Girls Hockey Association. Since then, the tournament has evolved and grown – this year’s tournament will include 40 teams from the various New England states and will be spread over four weekends. We are pleased with the current sponsorship of the tournament by the North Shore Vipers and Christian Hockey Camps International.

Waterville Valley is a great place for the entire family with lots of activities the entire weekend – skiing, snow tubing, fireworks, swimming, restaurants, and hockey. And the rink is in walking distance of many lodging options.

Sportsmanship and fair play have been important values throughout the history of the WVI tournament. The tournament strongly encourages players, coaches, and fans to demonstrate the highest standards of sportsmanship regardless of the outcome of the game. We do our best to create competitively balanced divisions. Throughout the tournament, we expect teams to compete to the best of their ability, but more importantly to always exhibit excellent behavior and sportsmanship.
