We Heart Babies is a 501(c)(3) non profit set up to provide support for, and increase awareness of, babies born with congenital heart defects.

We formed We Heart Babies after our own daughter was born with a congenital heart defect (Tetralogy of Fallot) that required open heart surgery when she was 5 months old. During our hospital stay, we were fortunate enough to have insurance and the flexibility with our work schedules that allowed us to be at the hospital 24/7. Many families were not so fortunate. We decided to form a non-profit to help families in similar situations. We Heart Babies provides "care packages" to families during their child's hospital stay, and provides financial assistance to families facing costly medical expenses due to heart surgery and hospitalization.
