Weinberg Village Waimanalo is a clean and sober service-enriched transitional housing program for homeless families with minor-aged children.
There are thirty units of housing comprised of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments complete with full kitchens and bath facilities. There is also an onsite laundry facility with coin-operated washers and dryers; food, household supplies and clothing donation rooms; and office building. There is one ADA accessible larger one-bedroom unit. All buildings including the donation room are ADA accessible. There is a beautiful large on-site playground and grassy open spaces where the kids can play.
Families who are experiencing homelessness may stop by the location to apply. There is a long waiting list so they are encouraged to apply at several shelters.
