The Wellington Fire District is a combination department, located in southern Lorain County, and encompasses 125 square miles. Providing service to the Village of Wellington, as well as the Townships of Brighton, Huntington, Penfield, Pittsfield, and Wellington; the Fire District is staffed M-F with two career personnel and two part-time personnel from 6pm - midnight.

Proudly serving since 1881, the Wellington Community Fire District protects the citizens and property of our six communities, by providing professional, courteous, and cost effective fire prevention, protection and emergency services.
