Wendell Chamber of Commerce
WHAT IS THE WENDELL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE? Organized in 1947, The Wendell Chamber of Commerce has served and continues to serve as an advocate for its members, providing common ground where business leaders can come together and work toward building a stronger community. Consider the Wendell Chamber as an extension of your business, providing avenues for economic development, expansion of your marketing department through referrals, advertising and networking opportunities, continued education through classes and workshops geared towards addressing the challenges of today’s business and offering entertainment outside of the workplace through community concerts, festivals and the promotion of community events outside the Chamber.
MEMBER BENEFITS: The Wendell Chamber is financed on a voluntary basis by its membership. Membership dues give a business an extensive listing on the Chambers website, including not only the basic information but photos, YouTube videos, a Google map, the ability to post events, job openings and hot deals to the Wendell Chamber’s calendar, social media links and 6-links back to the members website by an authoritative source, offering the member additional SEO tools to increase its Google ranking and statistics on visits to the different parts of their page. Broadcast e-mails are sent out each month introducing new members to the community, listing upcoming events for the week and an e-newsletter with links back to featured members and sponsors. Classes and Workshops are held at the Chamber each month that addresses the challenges of today’s business, supporting and aiding in business growth. The Wendell Chamber calendar lists networking, educational and community events in the Wendell and surrounding areas and can be customized by its users by location and type of event.
CHAMBER EVENTS: Several events are either promoted or sponsored by the Chamber throughout the year. Educational events include Thursday night learning series, member-to-member educational series and notary classes.
