Westminster College is located in Salt Lake City, only thirty minutes away from world-class resorts and the host of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Our home resort is Park City Mountain Resort and we benefit from the high-caliber setting to train and compete.
The Westminster College Snowboard team is part of the United States Collegiate Snowboard Association. The men’s and women’s teams were started in 2008 and have accrued many national titles since then.
The women’s team is proud to say they have taken the National Championship title all four years since their arrival in 2008 and don’t plan on relinquishing their reign anytime soon.
The men’s team has been 2nd place at Nationals all four years and believes that this is the year for that to change.
The team competes in all four disciplines: Boardercross, Slopestyle, Half Pipe and GS. All of our riders compete in all four disciplines.
We often compete in USASA, USSA and USCSA events, including amateur competitions in the mountain west.
Many of our riders have continued on into the pro ranks, professional filming, pro competitions, coaching and beyond. Our incoming freshmen come from a strong background of competition and training, bringing stellar resumes and films.
