Defense & Strategic Studies is an interdisciplinary acdemic major at the United States Military Academy. We examine the use of force in pursuit of national security of objectives through the study of theory, history, policy and other related fields. Our faculty develops and teaches a curriculum that is relevant for future Army leaders and recognized for its academic excellence. The nation requires agile, adaptable leaders who can think and act strategically. Our program’s mission is to lay the foundations for the future strategic leaders and thinkers of the 21st century.
