Welcome to The West Yellowstone Fly Shop.

Based out of West Yellowstone, MT, we are a full service fly shop and outfitting business specializing in guiding and teaching anglers of all ages and skill levels.

Above all, we believe that fly fishing is a fun and exciting way to enjoy life and experience nature. We teach and promote the pursuit of fly fishing as such, while stressing the importance of conservation, resource preservation, and giving back more than you take from any situation.

We also provide fly fishing destination travel to exotic and fabled angling destinations. We spend summers fishing and guiding the waters of southwest Montana Yellowstone National Park, and winters traveling to and exploring angling destinations a bit farther from home.

For the past 12 years, we have spent several months a year pursuing trout in Patagonia, Argentina. In 2006 We began outfitting in the region and continue to do so today through our sister company Pesca Patagonia.
