Who are the WUHS Boosters?

We are a non-profit group who's primary focus is to help raise funds to augment student activities. This includes sports, band, social and educational clubs at Wheatland Union High School. The boosters help take the financial strain off the over burdened school budget by assisting with costs of these programs and equipment needed but not funded. We as parents, alumni and community members also provide adult involvement in the growth of our children by participating and being a part of our student’s education.

Who can join the Boosters?

Any parent of current or former students, alumni, and community members who desire to assist and be a part of your communities’ education process.

What do I have to do to join the Boosters?

The best part of this group is the people! We need anyone with desire to be a part of our children's high school experience. We need Alumni who desire the opportunity to give back. We need community members who desire to help ensure our next generation of adults have the skills knowledge and social growth needed to become productive, healthy, members of our community.

How do I join Boosters?

The Boosters meet every third Monday for a monthly meeting at the high school library at 6:30. If it's a holiday or during summer break, the meetings are held at Primetime Pizza.This is where we discuss what is coming up and what is going on. We have several different committees that work on different projects and fundraisers throughout the year. To join just come to a meeting… we will not ask you to do anything you don't have time for or don't want to do. We know that each of us have limited time to contribute but you would be surprised how just a little time can make a big difference.

Will my involvement make a difference?

Parent and community involvement is such a huge part of our education system and civic pride. You would be surprised at what you may be missing and without all of our involvement imagine what our kids will miss!

You will also meet people with similar interests and just might make some new friends!
