Wheaton Briarcliffe Youth Baseball and Softball Organization serving Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Warrenville, Lisle, Winfield and other surrounding suburbs.
Wheaton Briarcliffe Youth Baseball and Softball ("WBYB"), a volunteer organization, has been in existence since 1972. WBYB provides both a sound and responsible baseball and softball program for the youth of the area whose purpose is to encourage the teaching of the fundamentals of baseball and softball while encouraging the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork and ... having fun.
Although based in Wheaton, we attract players from Glen Ellyn, Warrenville, Lisle, Winfield and other surrounding suburbs starting with "t-ball" programs at age five up and through the 8th grade. Last year, close to 700 plus families were part of the WBYB program. All of our fields are centrally located in Wheaton. We offer opportunities for "in-house" leagues in addition to part-time and full-time travels teams. The "in-house" season starts in April (with evaluations on Feb 26, 2012), ends in June and includes All-Star activities, training sessions taught by former professional players, Picture Day and more importantly .... dedicated and hard working coaches and other volunteers who strive to teach each player the fundamentals of baseball and softball in a competitive, yet fun environment. More details about all aspects of the league can be found throughout our website or you can contact any Board Member. You can register on-line by clicking the Registration icon below. Over 10,000 players have been part of our program over the last 30 years and we invite you and your son or daughter to become part of WBYB.
