A little about Wheeler Farms Candy Company:

The 7 flavors (currently) of Butter Brittle that we have available started from an old Wheeler family tradition. Butter Brittle was made at Christmas every year for friends and family. Charlie has been making Brittle for as long as he can remember (34 years let’s say). Everyone who tasted the brittle wanted to know how to get more and where to buy it. We had talked for years about the possibility of making this special treat for the public. With some hard work and encouragement from our family, the possibility has become a reality.

We are sure you will agree with us that, "...yeah, it’s that good"!

Seven years ago Charlie & Trina decided to make the Butter Brittle into a family business. Our hand crafted, unique flavors (seven flavors; Original, Pralines & Cream, Chocolate Chip Pecan, Cinnamon Pecan, Pumpkin Pecan Pie, Pumpkinseed and Sea Salt, Cappuccino Pecan) in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota (Deadwood) and packaged and shipped from Sturgis and they are all GLUTEN Free. A year ago we purchased a larger ‘pan’ that stirs and heats the brittle and allows us to make larger batches.

Three years ago Sam's Club home office in Bentonville, Arkansas contacted Wheeler Farms Candy Company directly. Charlie got the phone call while making brittle. They were looking for South Dakota made products for the Rapid City Grand Opening and that's where we got our start in the Sam’s Club Road Shows. We are scheduled in Rapid City and Sioux Falls currently but are not limited to just South Dakota and can expand further in the future.

Wheeler Farms Candy Company is happy to announce that we have been selected from a jury-ed exhibit submission to participate in the South Dakota Tourism Conference in Pierre in January. This is our 4th year to be selected as a participant.
