Why the name? White Stone is taken from Revelations 2:17 ...I will give to each one a white stone, and on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one who receives it." Everyone knows that when we get to heaven we get a mansion right? Not everyone knows that when we get to heaven we will get a white stone with a new name on it that only we understand. I won't understand yours and you won't understand mine. Have you ever had an inside joke with someone? You were the only ones who knew why something was funny? Jesus will give you a new name that has great meaning to you and Him. This speaks of a personal relationship. You can't have an inside joke with someone you don't know. Ask the Lord what will be written on your white stone and that conversation will help develop your personal relationship. Since the mission of "the church" is to help people develop their personal relationship with Jesus, the name White Stone reminds us of that. The word "Faith" is in the name also as a description of the type of church we are. Faith is how we receive from God. By grace we are saved through faith. Without Faith it is impossible to please God. Welcome to White Stone Faith Church
