Farm is located in Auburn, Maine and has been an important part of the community since 1930. The farm is now back in operation after a few years closed.
Whiting Farm has been purchased by John F. Murphy Homes, a non-profit company that offers services for people with developmental disabilities. The farm will become a place for all to come and learn. Programming on the farm will be phased in. Starting first with a large flower sale on Mother's Days weekend and of course vegetable seedling sale. The next phase will be planting and harvest vegetables on 10 acres of the property and opening the farm store to sell the produce and local products.
