Third annual Parks Day, May 18, 2013
9am-12pm, with potluck lunch to follow @ Island Park pavilion
Bring work gloves and a spade/shovel.
The Village Parks and Beautification Committees invite all residents to get together for a few hours of improving our parks and meeting your neighbors. Please come to your favorite Village Park to assist with small projects that will include: spring clean-up, planting flowers and trees, and painting.
Bring your shovel and gloves and we'll make a difference together! There will be crew leaders at each park to direct all volunteers. Volunteers will meet at the gazebos in South Long and Garrison Parks, and at the pavilion at Island Park.
Following the Morning Work Session all are invited to gather at the Pavilion on Island Park at 12:00 for a Potluck Picnic. Please bring a dish to share and your own drinks.
Rain or Shine-We will be taking care of our Parks!
