Willington Fire Department #1 provides fire/rescue, and prehospital medical service to the town of Willington, CT. Willington Fire Department works in conjunction with Willington Hill Fire Department which is called to respond for all fire and medical emergencies in town as well.
Willington Fire Department#1 operates out of 2 fire stations. Station 13 is located on Rt 32 near I-84. WFD runs an ambulance, a heavy rescue/pumper and a 2000g Engine Tank out of Station 13. Station 213 is located on Rt 32 at the intersection of Depot Road. WFD runs an 1000g Engine Tanker, a State of CT mobile foam trailer and the Tolland County dive truck.
