The Willoughby Area House of Prayer (WAHOP) is a Christ centered multi church prayer ministry, crossing denominational lines, praying for our families, our community, churches, schools, cities and nation for Jesus Christ.
Currently there are fourteen area churches involved in this ministry composed of Pastors and lay volunteers. This ministry began in January 2011 and in November 2011 through April 2012 we held 12 Hour Days of Prayer from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm at hosting churches.
From 12 May 2012 through September 2012 WAHOP had a Prayer Tent from 8:00 am through Noon near the United Methodist Church at the Outdoor Market in downtown Willoughby.
The Willoughby Area House of Prayer opened in a permanent location at 4091 Erie Street in downtown Willoughby on November 3, 2012.
