I've been passionate about finding treasures since I was a child. I loved rummaging through our family's old red barns and would search for hours for that unique item that caught my eye. Something that had been lost in time and forgotten about. I remember my first childhood score, an embossed swan wall switch plate. It was covered with dirt and grime, but there was something I found interesting about the piece. I took it to my mother and asked if I could keep it. Her response was where in the world did you find that old thing. I had to scrub to make it come clean, but when I was done, it gleamed. I had an unusual item I'd never seen before. Since my very first score, I've loved the search for something unusual, old, forgotten about and bringing it back to life. I've often heard from buyers that they've been searching for something they are purchasing for some time or that they remember the item at their grandmother's home. And then the memories come flooding back full force. I take pride in bringing back those lost treasured items to someone who appreciates collecting as much as I do.
