Wilton Farmers' Market - (203) 762-0567

The Wilton Farmers' Market is in full swing at the Wilton Historical Society every Wednesday from 12:30-5PM. Shop the latest goodies from our variety of weekly vendors, plus activities for kids!

Supported by the Wilton Chamber of Commerce and the Wilton Historical Society, the market is comprised of local farmers and artisans who come together to provide shoppers a venue in which to purchase the best products from local vendors.

The weekly outdoor market features local produce, baked goods, bento boxes, jams and jellies, granola, and other homemade goodies every Wednesday from 2pm to 6pm, beginning May 30th and lasting until September 12th. It also serves to educate the public about eating locally and making nutritious, healthy food choices.

Examples of early crops (May and early June) at the market are greens, lettuce, cabbage, onions and strawberries. The season starts to peak in late June and July when such crops as tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and peppers become available. Soon after, you’ll find sweet corn, melons, peas and late summer tomatoes. The season winds down in September, repeating the cool weather cycle of lettuces, cabbages, broccoli and radishes while fall’s cooling weather brings pumpkins, gourds, pansies and mums.
