Richmond's only 18th century public plantation home

Wilton was built circa 1753 for William Randolph III and his wife Ann Carter Harrison Randolph. Formerly located about 7 miles below Richmond along the James River, today Wilton and its collections can be found west of the city in Richmond's West End.
