Winchester Covenant is a household of faith, part of the church in Winchester, Clark County, KY. We are a people called together by God to know and to love him, to learn to live His way, and to manifest His kingdom through our words and deeds.
Vision:
We are a people joined together by the hand of God; therefore, (1) we are seeking to share our lives with one another as fully as we can; (2) we are offering our lives and relationships to God’s transforming process in order that our lives and relationships may become accurate reflections of his character, his thoughts, and his ways; (3) we have resolved to obey our Lord’s commission to evangelize and disciple our families and the those whom God joins to us.
We seek to be Biblically sound in doctrine and life, both personally and corporately. We seek to serve people with and without church backgrounds who cannot connect with traditional American churches that center on buildings and in-house programs. Our goal is to see people joined together in a living relationship with Christ and to his body.
We are working to equip every person whom God joins to us so that he or she may serve God’s purpose. We want each individual to fulfill the plan of God for his or her life—each faithfully serving God effectively in his or her sphere of influence.
We want every person whom God brings to us to find spiritual family—that place of belonging which God has designed for his people so that we able to build up and encourage one another and so that we can work together to serve others and to see his kingdom made visible.
