Windham families, schools and community will ensure the health, safety and optimal intellectual and personal development of children birth to age eight.
The Windham School Readiness Council/Windham Children First Initiative was established in 1997. It's objective is to provide open access to quality preschool experiences for children in Windham, and strengthen family, community and school partnerships.
The Council meets regularly to discuss issues and make decisions related to quality early care and education in the community. Anyone who is interested in working together to support children and families in Windham are welcome to attend and be a part of the Council.
