The Woodbury County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) has been serving the citizens of Woodbury County by providing a variety of services since it was established in 1853.
Beginning with the rough days of the 1850's , thrity-three Sheriff's have served Woodbury County, including the present Sheriff, Dave Drew. Fortunately, the passing of the years produced a great improvement over the comparative lawless time when Woodbury County was in its infancy.
