WFSC is dedicated to providing boys and girls a positive, healthy, encouraging environment to learn, excel, and compete in Figure Skating & Synchronized Skating. Our members develop skating skills while working toward the requirements of the USFSA. The club offers both individual and team skating opportunities, and our members have placed well in many state and regional events.

Woodbury Figure Skating Club, a "Great Place to Skate!

The Woodbury Figure Skating Club (WFSC) was officially formed in May 1999. WFSC became a United State Figure Skating (USFS) full club member in 2001. The group formed around skaters who used Woodbury's Bielenberg Sports Center (BSC) and wanted to expand local skating options. Many skaters started then, and continue to begin to skate today with the City's ISI Learn to Skate program.

The Woodbury club hosts an ISI-sanctioned Fall competition, does numerous exhibitions and is a member of the Twin Cities Figure Skating Association (TCFSA). WFSC now has about 100 home club and associate members. Its individual members compete locally and regionally in both ISI and USFS sanctioned events. WFSC also boasts two synchronized skating lines at the Open Juvenile and Preliminary levels.

Club USFS test sessions provide members the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and pass USFS tests in freestyle, ice dance, and moves in the field. The club holds an annual award banquet in late spring to present skaters with test level awards and other skating achievement recognitions earned during the skating season.
