Woodlawn Nature Center is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of native flora and fauna through hands-on education, promoting increased appreciation for our place in natural history and our responsibility as a keystone species.
Woodlawn Nature Center located on Woodlawn Ave. in Elkhart, IN. WNC has several engaging exhibts and prorgrams both for children and adults. Included activites: nature clubs for children, preschool group, open play time, adult book club, and ten acres of woods and trails. Exhibts at the center are hands on and educational both for childre, and adults. The exhibts range from a indoor sandbox in the dinousar cave, aquatic room with a full size sancastle, and a wigwam with natural toys.
