Woods Hole Foundation

We are a non-profit which makes charitable gifts to local services and cultural organizations that benefit the Falmouth/ Woods Hole community

Conceived in 1976 The Woods Hole Foundation is a local, community based endowment fund. The Foundation grants money to human service organizations, cultural groups and building preservation. All grants are intended to maintain and improve the quality of life and the character of our community. Thanks to the generosity of contributors, the number and the amount of the grants awarded annually has grown.

In 1993 The Foundation purchased the Woods Hole Post Office. Presently, the Foundation leases the building to the postal service to maintain this community service.
