The official symphonic orchestra for the College of Wooster.
Founded in 1915 by Daniel D. Parmelee, the Wooster Symphony Orchestra has been performing nonstop for the past century. Now on our 99th season under the baton of Jeffrey Lindberg, we are happy to present a program combining classic composers such as Beethoven, Debussy, and Mozart with contemporaries including Chen Yi and Irving Fine.
Our next performance will be on Saturday, April 18, at 7:30 in McGaw Chapel. We will be performing Schubert's 'Unfinished Symphony' and concluding with Mozart's infamous 'Requiem Mass in D Minor'.
Tickets are available at the Wooster Book Company, Buehler's (Milltown and Towne Market), Lowry Center Wilson Bookstore, and at the door. Adults are $5.00, and all students are free!
