Worthington Regional Economic Development Corporation was created with the primary goal of creating quality employment opportunities for area residents and to address issues which impact business development efforts. The WREDC is a community organization consisting of area businesses, civic, and government leaders who have made a firm commitment to enhance business and community development in the Greater Worthington Area. WREDC offers a variety of relocation and expansion services, including site selection assistance, financing alternatives and training referrals.
Who is the WREDC?
The WREDC is funded by both private and public entities with the common goal of retaining local businesses and attracting new business opportunities to Nobles County. Our unique position allows us to bridge the gap that exists between private businesses and local elected officials in an effort to help your business succeed in the best way possible. The WREDC is governed by an eighteen member board of directors that meets bimonthly (every other month) to oversee the actions and overall direction of the acting manger/executive director. Another key aspect of the WREDC is the private sector committee, composed of local business owners, that assists the board of directors by recommending a course of action on various board items.
How can the WREDC help me?
