The Law Enforcement Torch RunĀ® for Special Olympics is the movement's largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle.
Throughout the year the Wyoming LETR holds several fundraising events across the Cowboy State. In February and March we hold the annual Jackalope Jumps for Special Olympics. In this event brave supporters of Special Olympics take a plunge into icy waters to raise awareness and funds.
The end of April we hold our state-wide Law Enforcement Torch Run where law enforcement officers from across the state help carry the Flame of Hope across the state to the Opening Ceremonies of the Summer Games in Laramie.
And during the summer and fall months the LETR holds other events to support Special Olympics:
Tip-Cop Night at Texas Roadhouse (and other restaurants across the state)
Strikes for Special Olympics at local bowling alleys
Cops 'n Jocks
Cops On Top
Cuffed for a Cause
