Under the direction of Sheriff Keith Dunagan, the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office provides law enforcement and emergency services to the citizens of Wythe Co

Wythe County is located in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia covering 460 square miles. The county’s population is approximately 30,000 and although most of our county is rural, interstates 77 and 81 intersect here, bringing numerous travelers to and through our county on a daily basis.

We are pleased that each of you has elected to follow our fan page and encourage you to share and converse with your friends and other fans. However, the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page is a moderated page. WCSO reserves the right to moderate any and all comments, based on the following criteria:

• Posts containing profanity, hate speech, and offensive or inappropriate language will be deleted.

• Personal attacks on the administration, deputies and/or employees of the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office are prohibited.

• Posts containing illegal activity, commercial/political or fund raising solicitations, spam, or copyright/trademark infringement will be deleted.

• Some Facebook users will deliberately post inappropriate or offensive comments on the page in order to elicit responses from other users. Such comments will be removed and these users banned from the page.

WCSO reserves the right, at our discretion, to remove any post or to revoke a user's privilege to post to our page.
