The year 2013 has been a good year and much has been accomplished but I look forward to an even better year in 2014. The Sheriff’s Office employees have worked hard and supported me in meeting our goal of serving the citizens of this county. We have remained focused on property crimes, drug violations, and crime prevention as you will see in the statistics and data provided. I once again ask you the citizens of Yadkin County to assist the Sheriff’s Office in making Yadkin County one of the safest and crime free counties in the Nation. Thank you for your continued support, together we can make it happen. It is truly a blessing to live and work in Yadkin County,the place I call home. I consider it an honor and privilege to serve as your Sheriff and look forward to serving in the years to come.

POST / COMMENT REMOVAL POLICY

The Yadkin County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) Facebook fan page was created to facilitate the exchange of information with the public at large. To promote such exchange, YCSO encourages and welcomes postings and comments from the general public about issues related to YCSO operations. With that said, YCSO reserves the right to regulate the content of, and where necessary, delete completely, any objectionable entry that appears on its fan page. Furthermore, Facebook users found to be in violation of this policy may be permanently blocked from posting comments to the YCSO fan page. The Yadkin County Sheriff's Office is responsible for monitoring all postings to its Facebook page and may take appropriate action whenever necessary, and at its sole discretion, to protect other fan page visitors from inappropriate or otherwise harmful information and links.

To that end, the Yadkin County Sheriff's Office will remove as soon as possible any posting that involves: Advertisements of any kind; Obscenities; Off-topic comments; Personal attacks; Conduct implying, promoting, or encouraging illegal activity; Information that might compromise the safety or security of the public.; Any other posting that, by its nature or content, might harm public welfare.
