There is always something new to view and do at the Yakima Area Arboretum. There are 46 acres to explore.

The Arboretum offers excellent birding and wildlife viewing, various classes, lectures, facility rentals and more. Visit the Arboretum's webpage to get the latest information on classes and events.

A number of garden clubs and societies also meet regularly at the Yakima Area Arboretum and call the Arboretum home as affiliated members. Affiliated members share the Arboretum's educational mission and help the Arboretum to foster an appreciation for environmental stewardship in the community.

The Arboretum grounds are open 7 days a from dawn until dusk.

The Jewett Interpretive Center & Tree House Gift Shop are open from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Saturday, and by appointment.

There is no charge to visit the Yakima Area Arboretum. Donations are welcome.

Dogs on leashes are welcome at the Arboretum as long as they are accompanied by a responsible human. Please pick up after your pet.
