Volunteer Fire Department for the Yalesville section of Wallingford
The Yalesville Fire Dept located on 143 Hope Hill road. We cover the Yalesville and west side part of Wallingford. We have a Class A pumper with a 1500 GPM midship pump and 750 gallons water. Engine 5 carries various firefighting tools and supplies. It responds first due in the Yalesville part of town.We also staff a mini-pumper squad which has a 350 GPM pump with 400 gallons of water. Squad 5 carries various firefighting and EMS gear. It also carries various decon equipment for hazardous material incidents. It responds first due in its area to medical emergencies, MVA's and fires.
