Page dedicated to the Yorkville Middle School cross country team.
The Yorkville Middle School cross country team was formed in 2008 and run by head coach Derek Miller and assistant coaches Chad Martin and Mickey Nauman. The team only had 20 runners during that season, but has since grown to over 80. The program became a member of the IESA in 2009, and made IESA State the following year when both the boys and the girls qualified. Jake Hoffert was the team's first All-State runner when he placed 6th in the 2010 IESA State meet with a time of 10:50.
