Yucaipa Valley Historical Society - (909) 790-4685

The Society's purpose is to preserve the history of Yucaipa Valley.

The Yucaipa Valley Historical Society is a California non-profit public benefit corporation, founded in 1977 and incorporated on July 25, 1984. The building housing our museum is the Mousley Museum of Natural History located at 35308 Panorama Drive in Yucaipa. Originally built by Louis B. Mousley (1904-1981) to display his collection of shells, gems and minerals, it eventually was dedicated as a branch of the San Bernardino County Museums in September, 1970. The Yucaipa Valley Historical Society acquired control of the museum in 2005 and is almost finished converting it to a museum of the history of the Yucaipa Valley.
