Acknowledging positive role models who value kindness and display leadership skills.
The Foundation
Zack was loved for his kindness, enthusiasm, selflessness, and courage to take on leadership roles. The Zachary Gerald Knight Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, recognizes these traits in other young men.
Zack was a founding Brother and past president of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Salisbury-Chapter. As he was instrumental in the creation of this fraternity, now we honor his dream by providing male graduating students at Salisbury University with monetary awards to use as they enter the next phase of life. Weight will be given to nominees with membership in a Greek organization and particularly the Salisbury University chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
Annual Awards
Students eligible for these annual awards are nominated by a peer or by a community or college member for embodying the characteristics that Zack valued. Nominees should demonstrate leadership skills and show care and concern for others through acts of kindness and selflessness.
The Foundation Board Members will determine each annual recipient.
